My Torah Journey

I was raised in a Christian home, with loving parents who attended Church every Sunday and served as members of the congregation.

While I never turned my back on God, or my faith, I did hide it in my "back pocket" during my late teens and into my early 20's, choosing the "things of this world" over the promises of the Kingdom of God.

There have been several pivotal moments in my life; living in domestic violence, a frightening escape, a new relationship, a miscarriage and a still-born son, several health battles - where I have called out to God and He has answered me.

But after Christmas 2018, I felt like I was missing something; I felt like the whole celebration was empty and wrong. I decided to find out why we celebrate Christmas the way we do.

Well, that opened up a can of worms!

After discovering the horrendous, pagan foundation of, what had been, my favourite time of year, I felt I had no choice other than to fully cut ties with everything to do with Christmas.

As anyone who has gone down this "rabbit hole" knows, immediately after this decision came Easter.

The first year was the hardest; our family didn't understand, some of them were quite upset.

We swapped out Easter ham for Passover lamb; this was the only Biblical holiday I knew a little about, thanks to Celebrate Messiah's Rabbi Lawrence Hirsch, who had visited a church I used to attend to speak about The Pesach (Passover).

Then we discovered the Mo'Edim - what rich blessing that had been in the scriptures the whole time!

As I studied the Word and prayed for truth and understanding, Yah opened my eyes and ears.

Our five children all reacted differently, with only the youngest two accepting our decision to cease celebrating, what we now knew, were "worldly festivals".

Our older son didn't seem fazed either way, but our older girls still celebrated Christmas with our extended family and their friends.

One great blessing was that all of our children were happy to celebrate the Biblical feasts with us, and slowly we got better at honoring our God through His Appointed Times;

We were all learning together.

Six years on, Yah has moved in our lives in a huge way this year, 2026 -

convicting us to formalize our relationship of 18 years by being married before Yah and our closest family and drawing our oldest two children into repentance and relationship with Him.

A pouring out of blessing on us has occurred, but also the testing of spiritual warfare,

as we step into obedience of

The Living God.

Divine Inspiration

Straight from the timeless wisdom of the word of YHWH, The Living Word

I wanted to wear scripture that shared God's truth, but found there was very little available in Australia, and that many shirts I liked were from companies that didn't actually believe in The Living God, and even promoted un-biblical ideas and values.

My  Mission & Vision

Shared Journey

My desire is to share my family's Torah journey so that others feel they have support for their own journey

Intentional Design

I want to keep it as simple as scripture; the Torah is truth and life
